DAY 1: TOUR BEGINS AT NEW DELHI-INDIA

Welcome to India, your Golden Triangle Tour with Ladakhbegins with your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport-New Delhi. You will be received by our tour representative and transferred to your hotel. As most international arrivals are late in the evening and night this day has been left free to rest and recoup your energy before you start on your Discovery of India.

DAY 2: FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF OLD & NEW DELHI

Delhi, the picturesque capital of India is most eclectic fusion of old and new. The city's rich traditions, effervescent history, monuments, museums, galleries, parks and Mughal architecture are some of the special attractions that excite tourists from all over the world. An expert tour guide will help you uncover the highlights of the bustling city in a day.

Your golden triangle tour of India begins with a full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Explore the rich history and culture of Delhi, visit UNESCO world heritage sites of, Red Fort, QutubMinar&Humayun’s Tomb, also visit, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple, Vijay Chowk and India Gate. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 3: TRAVEL BY ROAD FROM NEW DELHI TO JAIPUR(DISTANCE 260KMS/6HRS)

On your golden triangle tour of India, wake up for an early morning drive, after breakfast proceed to the pink city of Jaipur. Check into your hotel ,post lunch proceed for an afternoon tour of Jaipur, visit the City Palace, JantarMantar (Observatory) &HawaMahal overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4: VISIT THE AMBER FORT &JAIGARH FORT

After breakfast visit the Amber Fort &Jaigarh Fort, take a Elephant Ride to the top of the fort feeling like royalty. After Amber fort visit the Jaigarh fort which overlooks the Amber fort and offers panoramic views of Jaipur ,Jaigarh is also home to “Jai van” said to be the world’s largest cannon on wheels. Rest of the day at leisure to explore the bazaars and streets of the pink city of Jaipur .Shop for handicrafts, carpets and, souvenirs. Jaipur is renowned world over for its precious and semi-precious stone jewellery, enamel work and blue pottery.

DAY 5: PROCEED BY ROAD FROM JAIPUR TO AGRA VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI (DISTANCE 250KMS/5HRS)

After breakfasts proceed from Jaipur to Agra by road, Agra-The city of the Taj Mahal, en-route stop to visit FatehpurSikri, now deserted but once the capital of the great Mughal Empire, built by Akbar the Great, FatehpurSikri is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue onwards to Agra, overnight at hotel in Agra.

DAY 6: HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING OF AGRA& BACK TO DELHI

After Breakfast,you will visit the Jewel in the crown of India; The Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife MumtazMahal. Also visit the Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-daulah's Tomb. Later proceed onward to Delhi.The journey will take 3 to 4 hrs. After reaching at Delhi your check in will be done. Rest of the day is on your leisure. Just relax or shop today. Tomorrow you'll be reaching to a new destination “Ladakh”.

DAY 07 DELHI TO LEH BY FLIGHT (1HRS. FLIGHT)

Early morning we will transfer you to domestic airport to board flight to Leh (Leh is the the largest town of Ladakh with an area of 45110 Sq Km. The district is bounded by Pakistan occupied Kashmir in the West, China in the north and eastern part.The beauty of Leh is that it introduces you best to Ladakh’s ways while you head out for short walks or drive around. Leh stands accessible, surrounded by the majesty of the Himalayan enclave. The experience can best be described as a peek into the delights that make up this ancient trade route). Our Representative will receive you at Leh Airport and take you to your hotel. Relax by the courtyard upon arrival. While you enjoy your cup of tea / butter tea, the room keys will be handed over to you. Spend the day free for high altitude acclimatisation. Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 8: LEH – INDUS VALLEY – LEH

Morning after breakfast, we will take you to a guided tour of the Monasteries of the Indus Valley. Your excursion would include visits to,
HEMIS(45KMS. SOUTH OF LEH) Hemis is the biggest and the most important monastery in Ladakh, built in the 17th century by ChapgonGyalshas and ever since has enjoyed the patronage of the royal family. Hemis is headquarter of the Drukpa order and all the monasteries throughout Ladakh are administered by it.

THIKSEY (25 KMS SOUTH OF LEH) Thiksey is one of the most imposing monasteries belonging to the 15th century, stands on a crag overlooking the flood plain on the east bank of the Indus. The monastery belongs to Elugpa order (Yellow sect). There is a 15m high Buddha figure at the entrance of the new temple.

SHEY (15 KMS SOUTH OF LEH) On the East bank of the Indus river lies the beautiful Shey Monastery. Up to the 16th century it was the royal palace. There is a 17.5 m high blue haired Maitreya Buddha of copper, brass gilded and studded with precious gemstones. Return to your hotel by the later part of the afternoon. Evening at leisure.Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 9: LEH – KHARDUNG LA – NUBRA VALLEY (124KM/ 5HRS)

After a relaxed breakfast, we will take you to Nubra Valley. The route from Leh takes the traveler over the Khardung-La, the highest motorable road in the world. The line of the road is different from that of the old pony-trail – longer and actually higher (18,300 feet / 5,578 m). The view from the top of the pass is amazing. One can see all the way south over the Indus valley to the seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar range, and north to the giants of the Saser massif. From Khardung-La, you will drive towards Nubra Valley.Upon arrival check in at the hotel.Evening at leisure.Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 10: NUBRA VALLEY – PANAMIC-LEH (144KM/4-5HRS)

Morning take a tour of Panamic Village (During the trade between Central Asia and Ladakh, Panamic was the last major settlement before the caravans cross the Karakoram ranges. Afternoon drive back to Leh. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel for overnight stay

DAY 11: LEH – LAMAYURU – ALCHI –LEH (125KM/3- 3.5HRS)

Today, we will take you to Alchi (Around 64 Kilometers west of Leh, south of the Indus River, is the little village of Alchi. It’s one of the most beautiful villages in Ladakh and an ideal place to get a feel for Ladakhi village life. Apart from its blissful tranquillity, Alchi has some of the subcontinent’s most impressive collections of Indo-Tibetan artwork).

Our first visit would be Monastery of Lamayuru (125 kms from Leh, Lamayuru is a pretty little village surrounded by the rocky Hindukush peaks.Dating back to the 10th century and belongs to Kargyu Pa sect (Red Hat Sect). Afterwards you will drive back to Leh. Spend the evening at leisure.Overnight at your hotel.

DAY 12 – LEH - PANGONG LAKE – LEH (DISTANCE 160 KMS/ 5-6HRS APPROX.)

After breakfast proceed to Pangonglake 14500 ft, through Changla pass 17,350 ft, (third highest motorable road in the world).After Lunch drive back to Leh. Enroute visit. ArriveLeh. Evening will be at your leisure.Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 13: LEH-DELHI BY FLIGHT

Here you have come to end of your tour with Golden Triangle Tour with Ladakh. After breakfast, you will go to Ladakh airport to board the flight to Delhi, on arrival at Delhi Airport catch the flight to your home and bid good bye to Golden Triangle Tour.
